Senior design.project

Jason is working on his senior design project with classmate Josh Rinaldi and Dr. Fred Annexstein as their advisor. Their goal is to offer movie viewers a robust recommendation system that combines various recommendation techniques to enable more in-depth ways of finding candidate movies. Movielink employs a new recommendation technique that focuses primarily on the relationships between movies. Movie viewers will be able to find links from their favorite movies to new movies that are based on the similarity of movie sub-components (such as violence, a specific actor, or a plot type) instead of the overall movie similarity. Movielink will feature a robust filtering system and query interconnection so users can take their current results and apply them to other query types. More information can be found on their Google Groups site located here.
